Privacy and student data
To activate student access, your student number and national ID are compared with the association's student registry.
- Your student number is stored so access and download reports can be attributed to you.
- Your national ID is never stored in readable form; only a keyed hash (HMAC) of it is kept.
- Every download is logged with a date, the file, and a hash of the network address — never the raw address.
- This data is deleted after the retention period configured in the settings.
- Contact the association to correct or delete your data.
Event registration: when you register we store your name, email, phone number, optional student number, university, field, degree level and your answers to the event's questions, so that a ticket can be issued, capacity and the waitlist can be managed, and we can contact you about the event. This data is visible only to authorised organisers and staff, never on public pages.
After the event and the retention period (730 days by default), identifying registration data is anonymised automatically; counts, attendance and certificate validity remain. The certificate verification page shows only the recipient name, event title and date, duration and status — never the email, phone or student number. Contact the association to request earlier deletion of your registration data.
